Golpe
BIOGRAPHY
Relentless energy, raw intensity, and unapologetic passion: this is the sonic world of Golpe, one of Hardtechno’s most influential and uncompromising figures. Since emerging onto the scene in the early 2000s, Golpe has carved a distinct path through the genre with a signature style that fuses high-octane power with emotional depth — a combination that continues to ignite dancefloors worldwide.
Born in 1987, Golpe discovered his love for electronic music at an early age. By 15, he was a regular at underground events, quickly becoming captivated by the harder edges of Techno. That fascination turned into obsession, and in 2003 he began his journey behind the decks, dedicating himself fully to mastering the craft. What began with late-night sessions and intense self-discipline soon evolved into his unique musical identity — a sound defined by precision, drive, and impact. Fittingly, he chose the name Golpe, meaning “hit” or “strike” — a perfect encapsulation of the force behind his music.
By 2005, Golpe had already begun performing regularly, quickly establishing himself within the European Hardtechno circuit. His breakout moment came in 2007 when he became one of the youngest artists ever invited to perform at the iconic Czech festival Apokalypsa, marking the start of a career defined by milestone performances and international acclaim.
In 2008, Golpe expanded his creative reach into music production. Just a year later, his first releases began circulating in the global scene, drawing attention from major labels including Animasola, Audiocode, Cannibal Society, and Distorted Records. His discography, known for its relentless rhythm and precision-engineered sound, has become a staple in Hardtechno and Schranz sets across the globe.
2013 marked his South American debut, adding new depth and perspective to his already seasoned touring experience. The following year, he joined the prestigious Cubbo booking agency, further elevating his international profile. In 2015, he made his first appearance at Awakenings Festival, performing alongside fellow Hungarian heavyweight Svetec — a collaboration that has since become one of the scene’s most celebrated duos: Svetec & Golpe.
Today, Golpe stands at the forefront of the global Hardtechno movement. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, his work remains a driving force within the genre — intense, unfiltered, and always evolving. His relentless output, unwavering commitment to the underground, and ability to channel emotion through machine-driven sound have earned him his place as a true ambassador of Hardtechno.
