Born in 1987, Golpe discovered his love for electronic music at an early age. By 15, he was a regular at underground events, quickly becoming captivated by the harder edges of Techno. That fascination turned into obsession, and in 2003 he began his journey behind the decks, dedicating himself fully to mastering the craft. What began with late-night sessions and intense self-discipline soon evolved into his unique musical identity — a sound defined by precision, drive, and impact. Fittingly, he chose the name Golpe, meaning “hit” or “strike” — a perfect encapsulation of the force behind his music.

By 2005, Golpe had already begun performing regularly, quickly establishing himself within the European Hardtechno circuit. His breakout moment came in 2007 when he became one of the youngest artists ever invited to perform at the iconic Czech festival Apokalypsa, marking the start of a career defined by milestone performances and international acclaim.

In 2008, Golpe expanded his creative reach into music production. The following year, he joined the prestigious Cubbo booking agency, further elevating his international profile. In 2015, he made his first appearance at Awakenings Festival, performing alongside fellow Hungarian heavyweight Svetec — a collaboration that has since become one of the scene’s most celebrated duos: Svetec & Golpe.
